In the files for the Kid A Mnesia Exhibition, there's an image of a piece of paper with lyrics from 'Lotus Flower', 'The Butcher', 'Staircase', and 'Coloured Candy'. Whether this means these tracks originated from this era is unclear.

'Staircase' had its live debut as part of the initial touring for the "Atoms For Peace" project. The song was played twice during Thom's solo section:
