'Solutions', a working title of 'Supercollider', was one of the titles that appeared on the blackboard the band used during two weeks of rehearsals from september 19th to 30th 2005. At the end of that session, Colin posted a picture of this board on Dead Air Space on september 30th, unfortunately (and probably intentionally) in rather low resolution, so that some of it can't be deciphered:
On April 1st 2008, Thom played a first hint of this song right before 'Everything In Its Right Place' during the evening show for the BBC:
On June 6th 2008, the song had its premiere opening the second encore of the first concert of the 2008 European Tour at Malahide Castle Grounds in Dublin.
On June 7th 2008, Thom played the song again, this time with a lyric sheet at the piano...
On June 10th 2008, Thom tried a different chord sequence in the middle in Paris. It would, however, only appear in this rendition.
The fourth and final 2008 performance by Thom would be like Dublin night 2.

The song was put out on a limited edition 2-track 12-inch vinyl to mark Independent Record Store Day on April 16th 2011.
Around May 26th 2011, the song had its full band live debut at BBC Maida Vale Studios as part of the From the Basement programme:
