“We made this bear from bread and lard and tried to get the geese to attack it and eat it, but they didn’t understand it was something to eat ~ it had a kind of scarecrow effect on them. So we had to engineer it by putting bread on the end of the camera. When it’s being attacked, it’s actually Kenny’s shoe.”

“Kenny spent hours trawling the internet for pictures of Thom, and using those pictures he found he built himself a model of Thom York’s head in Maya [a Silicon Graphics program]. He also created a new program for the skin textures himself. This is a flash frame from the 20-second blip - most of the frames are a complete head which Kenny modelled, rather than using mapping, rather like working from clay. Amazingly, it does look like him.”
